OUR CALLING
Oral health is intimately tied to the overall health of the individual. We have more than 4,000 registered patients between the ages of eight and 20 years old who desperately need pediatric dentistry in addition to corrective orthodontics. We believe that dentistry for our patients must reflect our open access model based on affordability and logistical ease in a bilingual format.
OUR HISTORY
It all started with Clínica Médicos, a clinic modeled after global mission hospitals with Chattanooga as our urban mission ground. Our ambition is to solve the complex challenges of health care, including dental care — especially for the Latino community of our city. Clinica has grown and expanded with the Medicos Mission Fund — with Renuevo mental health and Clínica Sonrisas dental services as well.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to make quality healthcare accessible to Chattanooga's underserved Latino community regardless of insurance status, language, pregnancy, age, or gender. This includes ORAL healthcare. ALL care matters & we care for the WHOLE person
Dr. Jonathan Salinas earned both his Master of Health Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, completing the five-year dual-degree program in 2017.
He met his wife, Becky, in 2011. They were married in 2014 and welcomed their daughter, Evie, in 2016. In 2019, Dr. Salinas completed his pediatric dentistry residency at the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine.
Following his residency, the Salinas family relocated to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where they have since made their home. In 2021, he achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a distinction that reflects his dedication to clinical excellence and lifelong professional development.
Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Salinas enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, exercising, and studying new languages.
